About the role

We are looking for three qualified social workers to drive forward our ambition as the specialist regulator for social workers. We will hold the register for social workers in England. As registration advisers you will analyse the content of overseas courses, experience and qualifications to assess equivalency with UK qualifications

Our Registration Advisers will be qualified social workers looking to drive forward our ambition of raising the standards of social work across the country. In this role you will analyse the content of overseas courses, experience and qualifications to assess the equivalency with UK qualifications.

You will be familiar with the content of current UK social work courses and qualifications and have experience of managing sensitive information.

We’re looking for candidates from diverse backgrounds who are representative of the UK population and our registrants. Our offices are based in Sheffield, but we are keen to receive applications from candidates from across the UK.

Inspections are conducted with education and training providers across England. This may require significant travel and overnight accommodation that will normally be arranged by Social Work England.
