Registration

Following the approval and publication of our rules, we asked for your feedback on a number of guidance documents that sit behind them.

Our registration rules ensure that all social workers on our register are able to practise safely and effectively. We drafted three guidance documents that provide further detail on the application process and our requirements for registration.

As part of the registration process following completion of their social work qualification, applicants must apply to the register through an online account. Three of the proposed guidance documents relating to registration are for applicants from the UK, the EEA and Switzerland, and overseas.

The documents we consulted on can be found below. We will publish the outcomes of this consultation and the updated guidance shortly.
