Social Work England will be holding a board meeting on 26 July from 11am-1pm at our head office – 1 North Bank, Blonk Street, Sheffield, S3 8JY.
Social Work England is committed to openness and transparency, and the public are welcome to attend and observe the board conducting its business in an open session.
By necessity, discussion of matters of policy in development, commercial or staff confidentiality, emerging regulatory issues, forthcoming announcement or publication, will be dealt with in a private session.
We are sorry but we are unable to reimburse any expenses incurred by traveling to our board meeting.
Attending the board meeting
We have limited space for members of the public to attend the meeting, so places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Therefore, if you wish to attend and observe the board meeting, please email firstname.lastname@example.org at least five working days before the meeting, and you will receive confirmation as to whether you can attend the meeting.
When you arrive at our head office, please report to reception. It will not be possible to gain entry on the day of the meeting unless you have previously registered.
Visitors may take written notes but using mobile or recording devices during a meeting is not permitted unless the board gives prior agreement.
